Webmail Sentora Theme V1

Hello to all.

Well by now all of you already know Sentora and it's modules and so on. So i decided to offer Sentora a unique theme for Roundcube Plugin used on Webmail. Introducing you all the first Sentora Webmail Theme for Webmail client, very very very easy to install and works like a charm and the best of it, is that you can edit and make your own theme too to customize your features.

Please donate to Sentora, all credits goes to this wonderful community! Support it please!

How to install?

Step 1
Login on your server/vps using your favorite client and open this location:
Code:
/etc/sentora/panel/etc/apps/webmail/skins

Step 2
Download the Sentora Webmail Extra Pack here: (copy and paste in browser = 110 Kb file size)
Code:
http://dsgdropscloud.com/tools/downloads/sentora.zip

Step 3
Extract all the files on your computer/other and upload to the location:
Code:
/etc/sentora/panel/etc/apps/webmail/skins/sentora/

Make sure you create a folder named sentora at that location as shown here.
Step 4
Open your browser and navigate to your control panel or webmail link, check this url for more informations about it, then on settings, choose "sentora" as the main theme.
Need to locate the docs? Check this link:
Code:
http://docs.sentora.org/?node=76

Extra configurations:
As you know, Roundcube allows you to add the theme as default, lets locate it:
Code:
/etc/sentora/panel/etc/apps/webmail/config/

File location to edit:
Code:
defaults.inc.php

Find the line:
Code:
$config['skin'] = 'larry';

Replace that line with:
Code:
$config['skin'] = 'sentora';

Thats it.
I hope i could help some of you and contribute with this addon for the community and help you all to deliver more themes inspired on this one or others in order to help more members.
Please donate to Sentora, all credits goes to this wonderful community! Support it please!

Enjoy!

Connection speed limit

Hi!

How can I limit the connection speed a domain has. This is available in Plesk and other panels but not in Sentora. How can I do that in config files or something? The reason is that we have a free hosting plan besides our paid plans, but we want to limit the connection speed so that when they go for the paid plan, which by the way is hosted via Plesk panels, they will achieve greater loading speed on their websites. Currently the free plan is just as fast as the paid ones.

Thanks!

Setting up different mail server for one domain in zpanel

I have two domains in zpanel server:

abc.com
def.com

There are many email accounts which belong to these domains. In this example I am using

mark@abc.com
john@def.com

When I use same local mail server and send email from one email to another is not a problem. But when I change mail server of def.com to another server for example to microsoft office 365 then I can't send email from mark@abc.com to john@def.com.

Below is the error I am getting:

SMTP Error (450): Failed to add recipient "john@def.com" (4.1.1 <john@def.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table).

How can I solve this problem? I think zpanel is looking for local server to deliver mail.

I tried following:

created /etc/postfix/transport and inserted following:
def.com smtp:mailserver.com

$ postmap /etc/postfix/transport
then uncommented transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport in /etc/postfix/main.cf and at last restarted postfix.

port 25 blocked due to spam

My VPS provider has blocked my Port 25 due to spam. I have gone over a few threads in these forums to try and work out what I can do to sort the issue.
It should be noted that I have had the problem before around 6 months ago. I updated all instances of wordpress that were in use on the server and everything seemend dandy, no more problems until now.

I have just updated them again and deleted the post queue. But I can see that mails are still being generated from one domain in particular. This domain in fact has not CMS in place and is currently just presenting the default sentora welcome page.

I have run clamav on my home dir and nothing was discovered.

I am running the most recent version of sentora 1.0.3.

An example of the kind of mail thats being output:

BIND not started...but somehow answering requests.

I just want to post this first, first time poster...new to Sentora, but longtime linux administrator... I'm not a newbie.

So I use Webmin on all of my servers in addition to having Sentora, CSF and a few other programs we use to manage the machines.

What I've noticed is that BIND (named) appears to not be running on my Sentora servers (according to Webmin), but is some how answering DNS requests for some domains. I'm not sure how that is happening. I know that Sentora has it's own included zone files in named.conf, but is it preventing BIND from starting or using it's own binary or is it using the binary installed on the system? And why would it be preventing Webmin from reporting BIND's status correctly?

Also continuously getting errors when attempting to setup new domains. Before I'm asked, yes...DNS zone is created in Sentora, BIND status shows it's running, and port is open allowing query requests.

But still getting this error.
https://intodns.com/ventracommunications.com

Any further recommendations would be appreciated. I would like to troubleshoot the issue, however I don't know how the CP is coded, so I'd rather not break it and have to flash the entire server if there is a more simple solution.

Cheers.

[SOLVED] Remove ftp username prefix

Hello,

i already search for this and understand about the reason of the "zadmin_" as prefix of ftp username.

But i have a specific ftp account called: "zadmin_plain" and i really really need this to be just: "plain".

Please anyone can tell me how to change this ssh?

I have the same problem with the prefix "zadmin_" in my mysql databases, but i fix it via ssh creating directly my databases. I know the databases without the prefix are not listed in sentora panel, but this is not a problem to me.

Thanks a lot!

StartSSL warning

Juste a notice for all StartSSL warning:

1. Mozilla and Google decided to distrust all StartCom root certificates as of 21st of October, this situation will have an impact in the upcoming release of Firefox and Chrome in January. Apple's decision announced on Nov 30th of distrusting all StartCom root certificates as of 1st of December will have an impact in their upcoming security update.
2. Any subscribers that paid the validation fee after Oct. 21st can get full refund by request.
3. StartCom will provide an interim solution soon and will replace all the issued certificates with issuance date on or after Oct 21st in case of requested. Meanwhile StartCom is updating all systems and will generate new root CAs as requested by Mozilla to regain the trust in these browsers.

Take care if you use them you will need to switch to another SSL provider as seem google is fighting them. I think their SSL certificates got badly used.

Twofactor GAuthenticator

Hello!
Can add two-factor authenticator in sentora login like to RoundCube? if so can someone help me?

Sentora + Multicraft FTP Issue

So I recently setup an Ubuntu 14.04 server and setup Sentora first. Afterwards I installed Multicraft. There are two parts of Multicraft. A panel side and a daemon that runs the Minecraft servers. I installed the Panel side as a Subdomain in Sentora and it works flawlessly. The Daemon also works just fine.

The issue I am running into is FTP access for Multicraft Users. My sentora FTP clients can access their files just fine, however my Multicraft users keep getting invalid password errors even though they are correct. From what I have read Sentora uses proftpd-basic. Is this correct?

I have inquired as to which service Multicraft uses. Any help from this side would be greatly appreciated.

# This is the main Apache HTTP server configuration file.  It contains the
# configuration directives that give the server its instructions.
# See <URL:http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/> for detailed information.
# In particular, see
# <URL:http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/mod/directives.html>
# for a discussion of each configuration directive.
#
# Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding
# what they do.  They're here only as hints or reminders.  If you are unsure
# consult the online docs. You have been warned.
#
# Configuration and logfile names: If the filenames you specify for many
# of the server's control files begin with "/" (or "drive:/" for Win32), the
# server will use that explicit path.  If the filenames do *not* begin
# with "/", the value of ServerRoot is prepended -- so 'log/access_log'
# with ServerRoot set to '/www' will be interpreted by the
# server as '/www/log/access_log', where as '/log/access_log' will be
# interpreted as '/log/access_log'.

#
# ServerRoot: The top of the directory tree under which the server's
# configuration, error, and log files are kept.
#
# Do not add a slash at the end of the directory path.  If you point
# ServerRoot at a non-local disk, be sure to specify a local disk on the
# Mutex directive, if file-based mutexes are used.  If you wish to share the
# same ServerRoot for multiple httpd daemons, you will need to change at
# least PidFile.
#
#ServerRoot
"/etc/httpd"

#
# Listen: Allows you to bind Apache to specific IP addresses and/or
# ports, instead of the default. See also the <VirtualHost>
# directive.
#
# Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to
# prevent Apache from glomming onto all bound IP addresses.
#
#Listen

#Listen

# Listen is now handled in Sentora vhosts file

# Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) Support
#
# To be able to use the functionality of a module which was built as a DSO you
# have to place corresponding `LoadModule' lines at this location so the
# directives contained in it are actually available _before_ they are used.
# Statically compiled modules (those listed by `httpd -l') do not need
# to be loaded here.
#
# Example:
# LoadModule foo_module modules/mod_foo.so
#
Include conf.modules.d/*.conf

# ServerName gives the name and port that the server uses to identify itself.
