An error occured, The package archive could not be extracted!

Hey all

I just did a clean install sentora, and im getting this error when I try to install modules

The package archive could not be extracted

I know it was working the other day because I managed to install some modules, but when I came to add some more its not working.


Iv searched the forums and the only fixes I can find are the module owner changing the code on their end, but I know this isnt the case as I'm having the issue with multiple modules, and even deleted one of the modules I had previously installed and got the error when re-installing it.

I have checked file permissions and everything but just can't see where its failing, is there a log or something with more info?

I am running zpanel latest version on a server, and I need to upgrade as some functionality no longer works on php 5.3 and CentOS 6 doesn't seem to have a standard upgrade route for php. How can I go about it and still keep services running?

Good day,

I wonder if in the futures, there could be a way to do a full backup of the server itself, all setting, webpage as a import / Export option ?

Maybe even possibly able to Export to the cloud? ( google drive, one drive, dropbox, etc)
A way to setup automatic backup on at time scedule ?

Setup reverse dns in sentora

Hello guys,

I have been looking around on google..in zpanel stuff..in this sentora forum, but nothing.

Can someone give me a step by step guide to reverse dns? Where and what to add, in which zones, in sentora installation or godaddy..

I am able to send a recieve emails without issues, but my emails are falling into google spam folder.

Just in case some of you start getting these errors, here's the temporary solution until the world turns to ipv6:
NOTE: I am not sure if this is also true for CentOS (yum update) at this time.

  1. file_get_contents() fails

i toke a domain yesterday, it-tetouan.com, but it dosn't work, also the mailbox send emails but don't receive.
please help me. i am a beginner with servers.

Hi there.

Well i have a script that needs to run with this:

  •  PHP Version 5.3+

  •  cURL Extension (enabled on most hosts by default)

  •  MySQLi extension (enabled on most hosts by default)

  •  short_open_tags enabled

  •  mod_rewrite enabled
I ordered a new vps just to work with this domain name. It seems i dont have all I need to make this work, so my question is this: Is Sentora able to update/install this tools (or one of it?) without killing the main system? I mean i want to use the script, well i must, but is Sentora the right tool for me on this matter? I got 2 domain names there in this server, one for DNS as main (zadmin) and second the domain i wanna work.

Can anyone tell me how to update or install what i need in this list?

DNS Port 53 is closed?!?

Restarted my server and now the Server Status shows DNS port 53 as blocked. all my domain names besides my main one arent working showing a dns error.

I dont know what i have to do to open the port back up or if i need to restart the dns server.

Willing to compensate for your time.

Hi,

I am using latest sentora version on fresh Ubuntu 14.04 desktop, tried twice, after starting the installer it shows me cross pointer as attached, and when i reboot, it stuck on cursor blink.

Is it possible to reinstall the proper PHP and MYSQL vers for Sentora? Found a tutorial on upgrading and MySQL isnt loading. I swear I need to stop breaking crap.

When users click the forgot password link at the panel login screen it causes a internal server error,

Has anyone come accross this before or any idea how to trouble shoot?

Sorry if this is something that's been said before, I've had a look around but can't find anything, first, where on earth do you find the API key, I cannot find it anywhere. When exporting config.php from xbilling I also get a 500 server error, with error reporting on I just get a blank page
