Ftp connection problem after update

Hi everyone, everything was working normal but after kernel update, proftpd problem started

When i tried to start proftpd service, it gave this error

unable to load 'mod_sql_mysql.c'; check to see if '/usr/libexec/proftpd/mod_sql_mysql.la' exists

After that i deleted the 

LoadModule mod_sql_mysql.c

line from /etc/proftpd.conf and proftpd service started to work but when i tried ftp connection, error was server not accepted

then changed the name of proftpd.conf and i did yum reinstall proftpd and yum reinstall proftpd-mysql

after that proftpd service can start normally but when i try to ftp connection, ftp client gives 530 login incorrect and proftpd service gives ftp session opened, no such user error

Can't open PID file /run/proftpd/proftpd.pid (yet?) after start: No such file or directory
ProFTPD 1.3.5e (maint) standalone mode STARTUP
Started ProFTPD FTP Server.


I can reach sentora_proftpd database and can see the users, i can add ftp users from sentora panel

Centos 7.0 Sentora 1.0.3

How can i solve this problem?

Hello

I've seen this issue before but I somehow forgot about it or ignored it. Now when testing again, this issue popped up again, but this is not a configuration issue by me, I think.

So, I have certbot and multiple domains with SSL configured and they work fine. Both https and http redirects normally to the https domain itself.
but
a domain without a certificate and no ssl-related configuration works fine with http and redirects to the domain, BUT, when adding https to the same domain, it redirects to the sentora panel instead after the browser warns of a non-trusted self signed certificate.

Why? How can I diagnose this?

Hello

So, I've finally setup the postfix on my server and setup TLS. Everything is working fine in regards to receiving, sending mail and being encrypted, but not when I want to connect to the server from an external email client like i.e. Outlook. Error message is a bit vague but it says that the imap settings
are wrong.

How do I define the imap and smtp addresses and possibly the ports as well?

Hello,

I have linked my domain with VPS and I was trying to upload the website through MFM.

When I first logged on, there was no public_html directory, so I created a new folder called public_html and uploaded all of my files (including index.html) on the directory. However, my website keeps displaying the "Your hosting space is ready..." message and keeps telling me to remove or replace the index.html file.

I'm really new to this and I'm quite confused on what to do in order to fix this. I have set the site up few days ago without any trouble, but I had to re-do it because Dynadot hosting service accidentally cancelled my order.

hello Everyone,
  
I am very frustrated after successfully using FTP and finally uploading my site to the server I have been unsuccessful when trying to upload the new changes to the live site , I have tried to clear the Browser Cache several times and have even tried to use my other Laptop and still the new changes aren't being displayed
Is there Anything that I need to do ? Can Anyone Please help me , I am sure the problem is not a complex one

I am trying sentora on a container. Earlier I have installed and configured on bare metal linux servers. For the first time i am trying Sentora on a docker container and so far. I tried to get the sentora image from docker hub. But no luck so far. If anyone have done this sentora container successfully. Kindly help me on this.

HI. i need inststall ssl in my server vps centos 7 sentora panel , I have tried several times, read every forum, and have found all other forums and websites without success, plz plz plz help me what there  is no enought tutorial for that???????

Hi All

Brand new member and very first post so I hope I don't break any rules 

I have just managed to set up Sentora 1.0.3 on Google Cloud platform on CentOS 7 with PHP 7.1.33 and Apache (not sure exact version)

I was able to successfully install Wordpress with an initial domain name so a website is up and running with DNS sorted etc. Just a normal basic functioning website. All good

But this is the problem... 

I cannot install a seperate second domain with a different Wordpress file? 

How do I actually install a second separeate 'addon domain' that will have a completely different Wordpress file installation, files folder and therefore website etc compared to the initial primary domain I just created and have up and running? 

In Sentora I can only find 'DNS Manager', 'Domains', 'Parked Domains' and 'Sub Domain' options. I can not find an 'Addon domain' option.

I tried to just use the normal "Domains" option to "Create a new domain" by:

1. typing in the new second domain name; and 

2. selecting "Home directory: Create a new home directory"

but when I go to upload the new Wordpress file into the second addon domain's Wordpress files folder via ELFileManager I receive the following error:

Error: Invalid backend configuration. Readable volumes not available. 

I searched the internet high and low trying to find an answer to this specific problem. I am therefore hoping someone can help me out in this forum. Hopefully it is not a nightmare for someone like me to fix.

My guess is it might be something to do with the php.ini file requiring a change?

I have attached screenshots to hopefully make it easier to troubleshoot

Hi my Sentora friends XD, how are you?¡  I have a issue with my sentora server, i cant login from any email client as outlook, thundervird, etc... An neither cant to access to any email account from reoundcube.. I see in dovecot logs the next errors:

Fatal sql: Configurartion Path file not given......

Please is there any way to fix this issue please? or if does not... Is It pssible to reinstall dovecot or all sentora???
